By default, when you browsed to our Events,  you would see a Calendar, showing you the number of events happening each day. These numbers can be narrowed down by choosing one of the categories, or a city, in the left hand column. But what do you do when you are looking for a specific keyword? Now, you can choose to use our Quick Search form to find an Event.

Have you switched over to the Google+ Social Media Site? We now have set up our own Google+ Brand Page. Now you can receive our news updates on your Google+ Feed. Want to learn more about Google+? Check out the recent news releases by Lynx Technical Solutions for a more in depth description, and links to some great articles on the subject.

Now there is an easy, and free way, to get your Business's news releases out. The Shuswap Events Bulletin Board is your local, community driven source for Events and Classifieds. Our goal is to help spread the word on all local Events, Classifieds and Businesses. Every week we post a news release with information about our site.

The Shuswap Events Bulletin Board was created to be a public calendar for all the Shuswap. It's open to all events! It's a go to place to look up Event information, then redirect the public to the Event's web site for more information. What better way to let people know what is going on, when they don't know what they want to do? In order to make this the best experience for the public, we welcome, and encourage suggestions for changes or additions.

We are making great progress on the Shuswap Events Bulletin Board. There are currently over 900 upcoming Events and 147 active Classifieds. There are also 164 local Businesses in our Directory. We are trying to keep our content up to date as much as possible, however, this is a community driven site, meaning that everyone can add events, classifieds and more to it.

Currently, everyone on our newsletter mailing list receives an email with links to PDFs every thursday. The PDFs contain a list of all the upcoming events for the next week, and all our classifieds. The Email will contain occasional news and tips about features on our site. We are in the process of revamping this newsletter, and changing it to once a month.
