Wrong for Each Other by Norm Foster is the story of two people who meet, fall
in love, marry, and then divorce. The play takes place four years later when they meet by
accident in a restaurant and begin to recount their times together. Through flashbacks the
audience is carried along on this hilarious ride as they relive their courtship and marriage.
Director Kim MacMillan says he chose the play because it has all the qualities he loves in
a good story. “There’s lots of good laughs, but there is also a poignant and very human
drama underneath the humour. These people really care about each other and they hurt
each other just as you and I do. Wanting love, we fear getting too close so we do this
little dance of closeness and distance, pursuit and resistance. These are characters we can
all identify with.”

Is there a possibility for redemption here? You’ll have to see the play to find out.
Of the cast, MacMillan says, “I’m delighted to be working with two capable, experienced
actors, Stephen Hiscock and Kaitlan Hunter. They will have you laughing and crying,
perhaps at the same time, as they pick their way through the minefield of love created
when two people are so ‘wrong for each other’. This will be a great midwinter crowd
pleaser.” This is a gentle comedy that contains some mature content.

Wrong for Each Other opens on Friday, February 25th and runs until Saturday, March 5th.

Sunday, the 27th is a matinee and there is no show on Monday.
